Pat Barry, P. Geoph., Consulting Geophysicist
Mr. Barry graduated with a B.Sc. in physics from McGill University in 1974 and an M.Sc. in physics from the University of British Columbia in 1977. In 1988 he completed his MBA at the University of Calgary. Mr. Barry has been associated with Boyd PetroSearch as a geophysical consultant since 2006. He has extensive experience in the Canadian overthrust belt and other complex geological settings. At Boyd, he has expanded his experience to plays in onshore Africa and Central Asia.
Experience:
Apache Canada: Northeast B.C. (Slave Point, Gething); Foothills (triangle zone clastics, carbonates in structure); North-Central Alberta (Swan Hills reefs, Zama reefs); Southern Alberta (Lower Mannville, Bow Island, Rundle, Crossfield).
Shell Canada: Foothills (exploration and development interpretation of all major gas fields); Peace River (4D seismic for oil sands) Central Alberta (Wabamun, Nisku); Manager Development Geophysics.
