Mohammad Bhatti, GIS Coordinator
Mr. Bhatti is a GIS specialist with over ten (10) years of experience in the GIS industry. He holds a Bachelors degree from York University and also has completed post graduate work in GIS - Application Specialist, from Sir Sandford Fleming. His formal education/training in GIS has allowed him to work in both the US and Canadian markets. This exposure has allowed for the successful implementation and transformation of GIS standards and systems with clients in varying industries, namely; ARCHAEOLOGY, GAS, ELECTRIC, PETROLEUM, PIEPLINE, TELECOM, TRANSPORTATION, and more recently SEISMIC ACQUISITION.
Mr. Bhatti has successfully delivered an implementation of a pilot GIS for the city of Mississauga's public transit system and an AM/FM (Automated Mapping Facilities Management) GIS for the city of San Antonio. He has worked with ExxonMobil Exploration Company and Imperial Oil on transforming and migrating systems to a GIS, as well as the implementation of GIS standards to their in-house suite of applications. Mr. Bhatti has also worked with clients in the telecommunications industry: GTE, Sprint and Verizon .These projects entailed the conversion of CAD and paper records into intelligent land and facilities GIS.
