Kathy Sloan, Manager, Field Operations Support
Ms. Sloan graduated from The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1984. She obtained an honours degree in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology. Kathy has been with Boyd PetroSearch since 1984 and manages the Approvals, Permitting, and GIS Mapping groups. She has over 20 years of experience mapping and coordinating seismic program applications including consultation with pipeline and road owners, trappers, Fish & Wildlife, DFO, forestry, municipalities, etc.
Kathy has been a member of the Board of Directors for SEPAC (Small Explorers and Producers Association of Canada) since 1999. Over the years, she has volunteered on numerous government/industry committees dealing with geophysical regulatory issues in the western provinces and currently sits on the Alberta provincial joint geophysical steering committee and the Surface Water & Aquifers (lakes) committee.
