James Liu, Geoscientist
James Liu graduated from the China University of Geoscience, Beijing with a Ph.D. in Sequence Stratigraphy, a M.Sc. in Seismic Stratigraphy and a B.Sc. in Geophysics.
Mr. Liu joined Boyd PetroSearch in March, 2006 where he expanded his experience on an international potash project in Canning Basin in Australia comprised of more than 20,000 km of 2D data.
EXPERIENCE:
Boyd PetroSearch: Create numerical earth models from different datasets such as seismic data volumes, seismic attribute layers and volumes, engineering information, well bores and logs. Completed numerical modeling, depth conversion projects, over 10 international and domestic 2D/3D seismic interpretation projects in Oil & Gas /Potash industry.
SINOPEC Exploration and Production Research Institute - Beijing, China - Interpretation of seismic, well log data and geological information.
China Petrochemical Corporation (SINOPEC) - Beijing, China - completed sequence stratigraphic research projects, identified numerous subtle reservoir groups.
